What this notice covers:
This privacy notice covers all version of the iAthan App and Clock. Any new privacy policy covering the new changes and/or features will be updated here and via newsletter.

We don't collect location or personal* data:
We believe that all users of the app (both Muslim and non-Muslim) have a right to privacy and iAthan is built on this basic principle. Therefore, the app requires location data to calculate specific prayer times through your ISP and/or provided city, state, and country. This is all done locally (i.e. on your phone) and no data is sent to iAthan or stored by us.

No other data is collected (including analytical information and personally identifiable information*).

Email address data:
We collect the email addresses of people who subscribe to our mailing lists or beta programs, and details of their interactions with our emails. This is limited to information about whether you have opened our e-mails and whether you have clicked on links contained in e-mails.

Global transfer and processing:
We do not collect any data other than your email address. They may be stored and processed in the countries where we operate or where other companies provide services to us (in this case MailChimp). By subscribing to our mailing list, you consent to us storing your email address in these countries and forwarding your email address to these countries.
